South Bend/Mishawaka Convention and Visitors Bureau Executive Director Kachmarik
Announces Resignation

South Bend, Ind. - Lynn Kachmarik has announced her resignation as executive director of the South Bend/Mishawaka Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB), a position she has held since January of this year.

"All of us who have had the pleasure of working with Lynn will miss her energy, ideas and intelligence," said Mark Dobson, president and CEO of The Chamber of Commerce of St. Joseph County. The CVB is an initiative of The Chamber, aimed at marketing the community as a visitor and convention destination.

Kachmarik will conclude her CVB responsibilities on December 18. After that, she will assume her new responsibilities as vice president and general manager of the South Bend Silver Hawks.

"I'm so grateful to all of the hospitality partners I've had the pleasure to know and work with over this past year," said Kachmarik. "I've learned a great deal from them, as well as my staff, and I'm so proud of the success we've been able to achieve in a short amount of time. Our hospitality partners can be rest assured that the talented CVB staff will continue with the work started this year, and I look forward to seeing the results of their labor in the future," concluded Kachmarik.
